Hi!! I'm Jenna! My artist name is Jenna Bean, which is a nickname my mom has called me since I was little :)

I have been making art for as long as I can remember, but sculpting has always been my favorite! I went to school for Studio Art at UW-Stout, where I graduated with a degree in Ceramics and Sculpture. I graduated last May, but I had a different job right out of school. I have been working full-time as a ceramic artist for 6 months now and it has been incredible! I make every ceramic piece myself in my 200 sq ft studio in my apartment!

All of my functional ceramics are made with a process called Slip-Casting. I sculpt the original object, then create a plaster mold of that object that I use to make multiples. I learned how to slip-cast in school and have been practicing for the past 3.5 years, but I have been learning and making ceramic work for 7 years. I sculpt all of my Little Guys and characters individually, and they bring me so much joy to create!
